Let’s face it. Media planning can be considered as a backbone of any business. After all who can deny the role of the media in making your business successful? You cannot think of any medium other than the media to easily reach out to your customers. Let’s say you have a new product that you want your customers to know about. You simply cannot just print an ad in a newspaper! It is possible that an improper message can create a negative effect on your consumer’s mind. This is where proper media planning is important. You need to consider factors such as budget, the type of message and the purpose of your message. For instance, a campaign on brand awareness will largely differ from a campaign that is advertising a new product. This is because people are not really aware of the new product and hence you need to plan a different approach for both the campaigns.
